ISLAMABAD: GROWATT energised Pakistan’s renewable energy sector by hosting its landmark convergence, “Together We Shine, Lighting Up Pakistan,” on December 9, 2025, at the Best Western Hotel, Islamabad. The event marked a historic milestone for the country’s solar industry, drawing more than 300 distinguished participants—the highest-ever attendance for a gathering of its kind in Pakistan’s solar market.
The convergence brought together industry leaders, policymakers and key stakeholders to celebrate collective achievements and outline an ambitious roadmap for a sustainable energy future.
Prominent speakers included Mr Hasnat Khan, Senior Vice President of the Pakistan Solar Association (PSA); Mr Adnan Shaoukat, Managing Director (Projects) at the Ministry of Energy (Power Division); and Mr Mian Fahad, Country Head of GROWATT Pakistan.
Opening the event, Mr Mian Fahad presented GROWATT’s strategic outlook, highlighting the company’s annual progress, key performance milestones and a forward-looking preview of next-generation solar and energy storage solutions. He reaffirmed GROWATT’s commitment to innovation and leadership in Pakistan’s rapidly evolving renewable energy market.
Mr Hasnat Khan underscored the PSA’s role as a unifying platform for distributors, importers and manufacturers, while emphasising the association’s proactive engagement with the government to promote supportive policies and long-term sectoral growth.
Representing the government, Mr Adnan Shaoukat outlined the Ministry of Energy’s strategic priorities and facilitative policies aimed at accelerating renewable energy adoption. He stressed the government’s focus on consumer empowerment, green transition and sustainable national development.
The event concluded with a cultural performance, adding a celebratory note to an evening marked by strong collaboration and shared optimism. The convergence further reinforced GROWATT’s position as a leading force in Pakistan’s solar sector, signalling a new phase of accelerated growth and collaborative innovation.
